The Technical Intern I is responsible for gaining knowledge and experience while working during high school years, that will be required for future full time employment.

This position typically works 4, 10-hour shifts.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Receive training in functions and operations of department.
  • Facilitate subsequent transferability between departments and to provide greater promotional opportunities.
  • Attend company-sponsored training classes.


WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • Less than high school education; or up to one-month related experience or training.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, including reading or listening to instructions and memos.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Successfully complete Work Steps assessment.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions.
