Position Summary

Under the general direction of the board of trustees, the Director of Economic Development will be responsible for researching, planning, and executing economic development activities that result in job creation, business attraction, and retention/expansion of established companies. The Director of Economic Development will engage with various stakeholders to build strong partnerships supporting CANDO's mission to develop Marion County as a premier destination for businesses and to establish CANDO as a leader in local development, growth, and quality of life.
