Selectek is partnering with a firm in Abilene, Texas to hire an Application, Engineer on a direct hire basis. Candidates will select components and size instrumentation/control items for a company that specializes in oil & gas piping projects.Expected Pay Range: $90,000-$110,000 annual salaryLocation: Abilene, TXSchedule: Monday-Friday, normal workday hoursJob Requirements:- Minimum of two years of experience- Experience with P&IDs, piping schedules- Knowledge of applicable hardware including valves, flanges, fittings and instrumentsJob Duties:- Estimate costs for incoming quotes regarding pressure vessels, piping, skids, and controls/instruments- Provide complete mechanical design for vessels and piping systems- Select components based P&IDs and customer spec sheets- Conduct Material take offs- Develop valve and instrument lists based off of the PFD and P&IDIn addition to these requirements, candidates must be eligible to work in the United States as Selectek is unable to provide sponsorship or work visa documentation.To be considered for this position, apply via the link, or if email is more convenient, send an up-to-date resume to ...@selectek.com and reference this job posting.
