UTHealth Houston School of Public Health seeks applicants for a full-time open rank tenure track faculty position who are passionate about health services research with high impact on health policy, health services delivery, health outcomes, comparative effectiveness research, health communication, non-medical determinants of health, population health, and/or public health. Interested faculty should also have content expertise and teaching capabilities from among the following areas: policy or political science, policy analysis of legislative efforts, quantitative or qualitative research methods, survey design, geographic information system methodologies, demography, big data analysis, healthcare payments systems, healthcare financing, health outcomes and quality of care research, and health IT.
