Essential Functions

Summary:

The?Paint?Helper will?be?responsible?for?assisting?the?paint department?with various tasks.?This position will?assist?with the preparation, application, and cleanup of?commercial?paint projects.?

Accountabilities:

• Assist?with the execution of?painting?under the supervision of more experienced staff?

• Perform basic?paint skills such as?masking, application, scraping, sanding, and cleaning?

• Make sure each building is sealed and weatherproof?

• Examine?any painted surfaces for defects and help touch up or correct any imperfections as needed?

• Maintain tools and equipment used while also?maintaining?a clean workspace?

• Follow?all safety guidelines and regulations, including the proper use of PPE, such as gloves, goggles, masks, and respirators, to ensure a safe working environment?

• Other job-related responsibilities as assigned.??

Required Knowledge/ Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent?is desired OR any combination of education and experience that?demonstrates?the ability to perform the job duties (required)??

• Have reliable attendance, be?respectful?and responsible at work.?

• Ability to keep your hand and arm steady while moving your arm or while holding your arm and hand in one position?

• Ability to effectively interact and communicate with individuals at all organizational levels in a professional, respectful manner?

• Ability to carry product, equipment, and tools up to 50 pounds and push or pull product up to 100 pounds?

• Ability to work in a heavy manufacturing environment requiring the employee to stoop, kneel, or crouch throughout an 8-to-10-hour day?

• Prioritize safety when performing tasks and producing a quality product in an efficient and productive manner to meet production schedule?

• Ability to reason and apply principles of logic to a wide range of factors when?monitoring?and working on jobs?

• Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in completing work tasks.?

• Adhere to safety protocols and?maintain?a clean and organized environment, promoting a culture of safety and compliance.???

• Ability to work in a heavy manufacturing environment requiring the employee to stand, stoop, kneel, or crouch throughout an 8-to-10-hour day.??

• Strength to carry product, equipment, and tools up to 50 pounds and push or pull product up to 100 pounds.??

• Ability to?work in?both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.?

• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening?
